• Girl Scouts of Gateway Council Inc. CEO Sandra “Sam” Tysver announced that she plans to retire in June 2013. The council’s board of directors is establishing a search committee to identify CEO candidates. Nona Jones, first vice chair of the board, will lead the search process. Jones, of Gainesville, said the committee will “leverage the recruitment resources of Girl Scouts of the USA” as well as local connections. A formal application process will be announced. Tysver has been the CEO since 1993 and has more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit management.
