• Jacksonville-based Firehouse Subs appointed Vincent Burchianti as chief financial officer. The appointment was made in July. He was vice president of finance and technology for Firehouse Subs. Burchianti oversees finance, technology and human resources, and is charged with the company’s long-term business plans, managing investor and banking relationships and protecting the company’s core financial model. Former CFO Stephen Joost, who became City Council president in July, remains a partner, board member and adviser with the company.
