• State Solicitor General Scott Makar is back in front of the United States Supreme Court today for his fourth, and last, case during the Court’s 2009-10 term. The case — the fifth for the state overall this term — involves whether a statute of limitations can be extended due to the gross negligence of a prisoner’s attorney in missing a filing deadline. Makar was formerly with the Office of General Counsel.
