• Jacksonville attorney Mark Eckels competed in the Beirut Marathon (26.2 miles) Nov. 7, finishing 194 out of 287 with a time of 4 hours, 29 minutes and 49 seconds. The winning time was 2:16:43. The event was held by the Beirut Marathon Association.
