How did you become involved? I have always had a deep appreciation for all sorts of motor vehicles and in service to that appreciation, have made many friends and acquaintances who are generally considered motor vehicle experts.

How can someone else become involved? The Concours event is now held annually and coupled with its connection with area charities, there are any number of ways to get involved either through the event itself or through one of the many benefited charity groups. Annual sign-ups for event volunteers are also taken on the organization’s website ameliaconcours.org.

What have you learned/achieved through the experience? The Concours event has been held annually since 1996 and has become one of the top automotive events in the world. In addition to being a fine event for automobile enthusiasts and fans alike, to date the Concours Foundation has donated more than $2.5 million to local charities, including Community Hospice of Northeast Florida Inc.
