A Birmingham, Alabama-based investment company paid $31.75 million Feb. 21 for the 156-unit Ocean Blue apartments in Mayport.
The buyer, EBSCO Ocean Blue LLC, is an affiliate of EBSCO Income Properties LLC, a real estate investment company focused on the acquisition of multifamily properties in the Southeastern U.S.
Ocean Blue, built in 2018, sits on 15.55 acres at 2701 Mayport Road west of Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park. It offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units.
Amenities include a cyber cafe, business center and lounge, pool with cabanas, Bark Park, valet trash service, detached garages, car wash, weekly yoga classes and events.
The seller was Longboat-based Ocean Blue LLC. It is led by Muhamed Becovic, associated with Becovic Management Group, a real estate developer focused on construction, development and management of multifamily apartments.
