Gate Petroleum Co. is building a gas station and convenience store on 3.6 acres at 4121 San Pablo Parkway.
Construction of the 6,544-square-foot store, canopy and dumpster enclosure totals almost $2.9 million, according to city-approved permits March 17.
The site is near Mayo Clinic.
JEA received a service availability request for Scrubbles car wash to build at 9826 San Jose Blvd., at Pall Mall Drive.
Baker Design Build is the agent.
The site’s history includes having been Pasta Market, Hops Grill & Brewing, Cross Creek Steakhouse, Physicians Medical Center and an urgent care center.
The city issued a permit March 10 for the $480,000 build-out to combine two tenant spaces at Lakewood Promenade into a 7,279-square-foot Pet Supplies Plus.
Engelke Construction Solutions LLC of Brunswick, Ohio, is the contractor for the project at 1614 University Blvd. W., next to the closed Stein Mart store.
