Elllianos Coffee is good to go near Pottsburg Creek.

The city issued a permit June 25 for SimQ Development of Santa Rosa Beach to build the 820-square-foot drive-thru kiosk on a 0.75-acre site at 8700 Beach Blvd., west of Southside Boulevard and east of Pottsburg Creek.

The project costs total almost $1.28 million. The city issued permits June 16 for site clearing at $575,000 and for construction June 25 at $700,000. A permit for a dumpster enclosure shows a projected cost of $10,000.

It could be the Lake City-based drive-thru kiosk chain’s 18th location opened or planned in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties.

The location is at southwest Beach Boulevard and Killarney Drive, west of the Walmart Supercenter and across Beach from Gates of the Promenade, a shopping center anchored by Rowe’s IGA Supermarkets.

The Harvest Venture Group Inc. of Jacksonville is the project owner.

Jacksonville power provider JEA issued a service availability letter Nov. 21 for the site. It said an auto window-tinting shop previously operated at the site and was demolished.

The JEA letter was sent to JBrown Professional Group Inc., which operates as JBPro, of Gainesville. The group also is the agent for the site-clearing.

The Duval County Property Appraiser shows the vacant site is owned by A to Z Nail Supply of Jax LLC.

Ellianos.com shows 11 shops operating in Northeast Florida in Duval, where there are six; Clay, with two; Nassau, with two; and one in St. Johns counties.

The site shows two more coming soon. One is along Atlantic Boulevard in the Regency area and another is listed in Keystone Heights in Clay County.

Regulatory filings and permitting records show at least five more as possible in the five counties of Northeast Florida.

The Ellianos menu includes hot and iced coffee beverages, freezers, smoothies, shakes, refreshers, tea, energy drinks and other beverages.

Food items vary by location and include breakfast bowls, sandwiches, bagels, pastries, lunch sandwiches with chips and snacks.

Daily hours vary, opening from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and closing from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Ellianos, which franchises, shows 80 shops comprising 37 in Florida, 30 in Georgia, 12 in Alabama and one in North Carolina, according to Ellianos.com. At least nine more are shown as coming soon.

Scott and Pam Stewart established the company in 2002.
