Reunion Rehabilitation planning Jacksonville hospital

Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital is planning a 53,000-square-foot in-patient hospital in Tamaya, according to plans submitted to the city. 

The facility will be on 5.18 acres at northeast Kernan and Beach boulevards. Tamaya Loan Acquisition LLC owns the parcel. 

It is adjacent to Grand Living at Tamaya, an independent living, assisted living and memory care facility. 

Nobis Rehabilitation Partners, which manages Reunion Rehabilitation Hospitals, lists a Jacksonville location on its website.

It is the first for the hospital in Florida.

Reunion Rehabilitation operates two locations in Dublin, Ohio, and Denver. Nomis’ website shows five Reunion locations coming soon. 

Representatives from Nomis and Reunion did not respond to a request for comment. 

Plans show a three-story, 53,000-square-foot building, a parking lot and space for a 12,000-square-foot future expansion.
