Gateway Jax is seeking artists to create murals and sculptural works for its Pearl Square development in Downtown Jacksonville.

The developers said in an April 16 news release they will accept applications through April 22, 2025, for a series of public art commissions for the $750 million neighborhood.

The release said priority will go to local and regional artists with experience in large-scale public art.

Applicants interested in either or both murals and sculptures can apply. Commissions start at $25,000.

Gateway Jax is a partnership between principal Bryan Moll, JWB Real Estate Capital and DLP Capital. Its plans call for a $2 million investment across 25 city blocks.
