Cross Regions Real Estate and Urban Partners Group Construction intend to develop the Point Meadows Medical-Professional Office Building in the Baymeadows area at 8100 Point Meadows Drive.
The two-story, almost 30,000-square-foot building is in city review.
Urban Partners Construction is the contractor for the $3 million shell building on an acre. Design Development Architecture Inc. of Middleburg is the architect.
Cross Regions, the majority owner, says in a marketing brochure that 24,000 square feet of space is rentable.
Urban Partners President Edmundo Gonzalez said his group is the general contractor and partner in the project.
He expects to start construction by December for the likely multitenant professional and medical office building.
At the same time, Jacksonville-based Cross Regions will relocate its offices from 1205 Monument Road to the Tyler Professional Office Building it is developing at 13553 Atlantic Blvd.
The city is reviewing a permit application for Urban Partners Construction to build-out 4,744 square feet of space for Cross Regions at a cost of $200,000.
Plans show Cross Regions will occupy the second floor of the two-story building, which totals almost 10,600 square feet.Â
Cross Regions’ space will include offices, brokerage stations, a break room and workroom and space for more functions.
Cross Regions Group President and CEO David Ergisi said the Florida Autism Center will lease the first floor.
Ergisi said the buildings are in response to "demand and need in these areas for a high-quality medical/professional office development."
