Admiral Homes may be a new name to Jacksonville, but many of its employees and owners have been involved in building industry in Jacksonville for over 30 years.
The company is headed by Charlie Arnold, a former sales agent at D.W. Hutson. Vice presidents include two key ex-Hutson employees, David Hinson and Leslie Oreal-Arnold, plus Dana Skaff, formerly of D.S. Ware.
Arnold said the new company, whose headquarters are on San Jose Boulevard near I-295, has no affiliation to D.W. Hutson.
But, Admiral Homes is a preferred builder, along with seven others, in OakLeaf Plantation, one of the area’s largest residential and commercial developments which is being developed by David Hutson Land Company.
“OakLeaf Plantation will be a wonderful addition to this region,” said Arnold. “A master-planned community offers so much to today’s families with integrating living, learning, working, playing, shopping, exploring and more. We believe in the vision of OakLeaf Plantation and we hope fulfill the dreams of many families by building homes in OakLeaf for many years.”
Admiral Homes is currently building in eight of Jacksonville’s communities with homes ranging in price from $90,000 to $250,000.
The communities it is building in are Ashley Woods, Waterford Estates, River Oaks, Timber Point, Cutter’s Point, Hammock Grove, Westin and Captiva.
New communities they are involved in are Hawks Point and Oak Leaf Plantation.
