Crawdaddy's future still undecided

The old Crawdaddy’s restaurant on the Southbank is still sitting idle. The restaurant closed several months ago and talk was it would be replaced — after some renovations — by the Rusty Pelican, a Tampa-based restaurant. John Gaudineer, the regional vice president of Specialty Restaurant Corp., which owns the Rusty Pelican and dozens of other restaurants across the country, said plans are still being formulated for the site. “I can’t say what we are going to do,” said Gaudineer. “I’d like to say it will be sooner than later, but I can’t. It might be two months, it might be four months.”
