An investiture honoring Russell Healey as the newest County Court judge for the 4th Judicial Circuit was held Thursday in the Duval County Courthouse. Healey practiced family law prior to being appointed to the bench. He was a partner at Mahon & Associates with State Rep. Mark Mahon and Lacy Mahon for 14 years.
Friends, family and colleagues gathered at the Duval County Courthouse Thursday afternoon for the investiture of Judge Russell Healey. “Russell belongs on the bench for his talents: intelligence balanced by common sense,” said Judge Brad Stetson. “At the State Attorney’s Office, he kept on top of the latest case law. He was always well prepared and he knows the law. Russell Healey is a natural born leader.” The event was followed by a reception at the Adam’s Mark Hotel.
