New Federal Judge

At the last investiture ceremony to take place at the old Federal Courthouse, the Honorable Timothy J. Corrigan was sworn in as District Judge of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida Tuesday at 4 p.m. Corrigan, who was surprised by his alma mater Bishop Kenny High School’s marching band with a rendition of the National Anthem, previously served as a U.S. Magistrate Judge. The ceremony was also significant as it was the last time the Honorable Elizabeth Kovachevich will preside over such an event as Chief Judge.
