• The Tiger Bay Club is hosting the candidates for attorney general Friday at noon at the Radisson. Candidates scheduled to appear include Solicitor General Tom Warner, State Sen. Locke Burt, Deputy Attorney General for Central Florida George Sheldon and State Sen. Buddy Dyer. Cost is $20 and non-members are welcome to attend. Call 306-9065 for reservations.

• Lynn H. Grafel, CEO of WorkSource, has been appointed to serve on the National Advisory Committee for Veteran’s Employment and Training. He will serve for two years.

• Michelle Branham has been named public information officer for the Jacksonville Airport Authority. Branham recently moved to Jacksonville from Atlanta and has spent her career in the marketing and public relations industry.

• Prestige Auto Imports has opened a shop at 8154 103rd St. next to Serrano’s Paint & Body Shop. Prestige specializes in repairs to European and Japanese automobiles.
