• Robert F. Snodgrass Jr., president and CEO of Lexus of Jacksonville, has been elected vice chairman of the Lexus Southern Area Dealer Council.

• Todd Allsup has joined The Stellar Group as director of business development for the process division. He will focus on the food industry, including processing of meats, dairy, beverage, bakery and other perishable food products.

• The ImprovJacksonville comedy group will host workshops in January at WJCT for children, teenagers and adults who want to be in the spotlight. Call Scott Abrams at 399-4550 for details.

• Caravan Stage Barge, a roving theater troupe, will hold auditions Nov. 23 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. for next season’s tour. They are seeking dancers, aerial artists, singers and actors for the show “Red Tides.” Performers will need a head shot photo and a bio or resume. Dancers should bring music for their numbers and actors should bring a prepared monologue from modern theater. Call 343-1424 to schedule an appointment.

• Duane Ottenstroer, president of Eventide Investments, Inc., has been unanimously reelected chairman of the St. Johns River Water Management District’s Governing Board. The other board members are Ometrias Deon Long, Robert Albright, David G. Graham, Ann T. Moore, W. Michael Branch, Jeff K. Jennings, William Kerr and Catherine A. Walker.

• Two board members at daniel have received awards from the Florida Coalition For Children, Inc. Beth Wiggins was named Trustee of the Year, and Judy Hicks was named Volunteer of the Year.

• The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra will host a reception and presentation Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the T-U Center to celebrate its youth music education programs. A concert follows at 10 a.m.
