• Mark Gruszecki, president and CEO of the Jacksonville Economic Development Company (JEDCO) has been awarded the National Leadership Award by U.S. Rep. Tom Delay of the National Republican Congressional Committee and the Business Advisory Council.
• Sam Houston Jr. has been named division chief of the Fleet Management Division in the City’s Department of Administration and Finance. He will oversee 170 employees and the maintenance of 5,000 City vehicles, including garbage trucks, fire engines and squad cars.
