Concert

Lonestar, special guest Sara Evans and opening acts Amy Dalley and Dean Miller.

Metropolitan Park.

Gates open at 4 p.m.; opening ceremony at 5 p.m.

Classic Car Show

Metropolitan Park (under the overpass)

4-7 p.m.

30 classic American Cars on display

DJ playing classic American rock and roll.

Fireworks

9:45 p.m.

Fireworks will be shot over the St. Johns River from three barges (one located off of Metropolitan Park, one located just east of the Main Street Bridge and one located between the Main Street and Acosta Bridges), and from three bridges (Hart, Main Street and Acosta.)

Children’s activities

In and around Kids Kampus and the Jacksonville Fire Museum (west of Metropolitan Park.)

10 a.m.-4 p.m. (Kids Kampus open 8 a.m.-8 p.m.)

Water park, train rides, inflatables, magicians, make and take arts and crafts, fire and police apparatus on display, free tours of Jacksonville Fire Museum.

General information

Parking

In and around the Sports Complex area.  A special event rate of $5 per car will apply.

Bridge closures

Hart - West Lane closed to vehicular traffic, 4 p.m.-9:30 p.m. All lanes closed to vehicular traffic from 9:30-11 p.m.

Main Street - West Lane closed to vehicular traffic, noon-2 p.m. East Lane closed to vehicular traffic, 9:30-1 p.m. Bridge closed to pedestrian traffic, 10 a.m.- 11 p.m.

Acosta - East Lane closed to vehicular traffic, 8:30 a.m.-noon and 9:30-11 p.m. Bridge closed to pedestrian traffic, 8:30 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Boating rules

No anchoring between the Main Street and Acosta bridges. All anchoring off of Metropolitan Park limited to inside the buoys south of the channel.

Park rules

A variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase inside Metropolitan Park.  No outside food or beverage will be admitted. Other prohibited items include bags, fanny packs or purses larger than 8.5x11, backpacks, cameras of any kind, umbrellas, coolers or picnic baskets, pets, roller skates or roller blades, or laser pointers. Strollers, diaper bags and “chairs in a bag” will be permitted, but are subject to search.
