The clerks working in the Juvenile Department at the Duval County Courthouse have few complaints. Many who work there have done so for longer than a decade, and the rest say they “love it.”
“Our work here is really two-fold,” said Department Supervisor Charlene Ricks. “We keep records for the court and also do a great amount of filing and inputting documents.
“We also have our trial clerks, who actually go to court and take notes and set court dates and things like that. We stay pretty busy non-stop, but we can’t forget the importance of working professionally and keeping everything we do confidential.”
