• Erik Wilson (right) has been named chief financial officer of The Hutson Companies, which is developing the OakLeaf Plantation in Clay County and several other projects throughout Northeast Florida.

• The Rotary Club of West Jacksonville has installed new officers. They are Philip Voss, president; attorney Michael Prendergast, president-elect; Property Appraiser Jim Overton, vice president; Dr. Scott Imray, secretary; and Bill Howey, sergeant-at-arms.

• Robin Sorensen, founder and CEO of Firehouse Subs, has been elected national vice president of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Also, Josh McGraw, president of Clear Channel Jacksonville, and Gary R. Chartrand, chair and chief executive officer of Acosta Sales and Marketing, were reelected to vice president positions.

• Leadership Jacksonville has named its board of directors for 2003-04. They are Madeline Scales-Taylor, president; Michael Shalley, president-elect; Barbara J. Drake, immediate past president; Cassius Priestly, secretary/treasurer; Jack Logue, adult program chair; Susan Main, youth programs chair; Toni Crawford, development chair; Joy Korman, selection chair; and Noah Henderson, alumni relations chair. Wally Lee, president of the Chamber of Commerce, will chair the new leadership summit. At-large members are Martha Barrett, John Bottaro, Alberta Hipps, Michael Kenney, Barbara Moulding, Jack Morgan and Maarten van de Guchte.

• Sheriff John Rutherford is the guest speaker the Children’s Home Society Civic Roundtable meeting Aug. 8 at the Radisson. The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $13.

• Deanna Cope has been named director of marketing for The Hutson Companies. Before joining Hutson, Cope was director of marketing for The Vestcor Companies.
