Mayor-elect John Peyton’s Inaugural schedule of events on Tuesday:

Interfaith Service

Time: 8-8:30 a.m. breakfast reception; 9-9:30 a.m. prayer service.

Location: St. John’s Cathedral, 256 E. Church St.

Guests: faith-based leaders from across the city invited.

Open to the public

Inaugural Committee Reception

Time: 5–6 p.m.

Location: Omni ballroom

Guests: key volunteers, campaign and transition staff, finance committee, volunteers and elected officials invited.

Not open to the public

Inaugural ceremony

Time: Doors open at 6 p.m. Seats open to the public at 6:45 p.m; program begins at 7 p.m.

Location: T-U Center.

Guests: invited guests, and the public.

Musical prelude, 6 p.m.

United States Navy Band Southeast Brass Quintet.
