When the polls close this evening at 7 p.m., it will mark the end of a long day for City Council Dist. 5 candidates Jay Jabour and Art Shad. After months of campaigning, and surviving the primary election last month, Jabour and Shad spent the final day of the race stumping for last minute votes.
