Tim Cassidy has been the sales manager for Bestcon of Jacksonville, Inc., for four years.

HIS JOB?

“Manages sales,” said Cassidy with a smirk. From sales and marketing to public relations and coordinating with Bestcon’s interior design team, Cassidy stays very busy managing Bestcon’s communities located in Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach and St. Augustine.

GETTING TO BESTCON

Cassidy and his wife moved to Jacksonville Beach four years ago from Atlanta and bought their home from Bestcon Homes. “I met Paul W. Nichols, Bestcon’s president, and the next thing you know I was working for him. I had intended to work in real estate sales with Prudential, but when Paul offered me the job I could not pass it up.”

BEFORE BESTCON

Cassidy spent many years in pharmaceutical sales and management in Southern California, Texas and Georgia before he got into the real estate business. “I spent two years as a Realtor with Prudential in Atlanta before my wife’s job transferred us to Jacksonville.”

EDUCATION

The University of California at Los Angeles is where Cassidy received his bachelor’s degree in business.

FAMILY

Cassidy has been married to his wife Lori for eight years; she works in Stein Mart’s corporate office. Cassidy has two sons: Ryan, who graduated from Union College and is perusing an acting career in Hollywood, and Tyler, who graduated from the University of Southern California and is now in his last year of law school at the University of Miami.

RESIDES

Jacksonville Beach.

HOBBIES

Surfing. He has been doing it since 1957 and considers it his passion. He also enjoys skiing and collecting Hawaiian shirts.
