DiscoverTec LLC is wiring all residences at Miravista at Harbortown by Centex Homes for the latest technology including the new iCEBOX, a flipscreen kitchen entertainment center.

“A home’s kitchen is often the hub for family activities and serves as a gathering place for family members to talk and get caught up on the events in their busy lives,” CEO Donny Lamey said. “By wiring all of the residences at Miravista to be iCEBOX-ready, the homes’ kitchens will also serve as a command center where residents can do research on the Web, watch television and DVD’s or listen to the radio while preparing meals and spending time with family members.”

DiscoverTec is outfitting the kitchen of each residence to be iCEBOX-ready with 110v power and cable for high-speed Internet access and television. The iCEBOX is specifically designed for the kitchen and features a flat, liquid crystal display (LCD) flipscreen, which is mounted under the kitchen cabinet and flips up when not in use, a touch screen interface with stylus, three-way speakers, a home video monitoring function, and one of the most enticing features, a washable, wireless keyboard.

Interested buyers can view an iCEBOX model at DiscoverTec’s interactive office complex located at 4600 Touchton Road, Building 100, Suite 150, off Southside Boulevard.
