CornerStone Homes, LLC, a Jacksonville-based homebuilder, has broken ground in two new communities: The Preserve at St. Johns Landing Estates in the Arlington/Fort Caroline area and Doctors Inlet Reserve in Clay County.

The groundbreakings come just as the local homebuilder is about to finish sales in its Captiva Bluff and Tavanier Oaks communities.

The Preserve at St. Johns Landing Estates is an upscale boating neighborhood in Arlington/Fort Caroline area with direct access to the St. Johns River.

Starting in the $250s, CornerStone Homes will offer 10 floorplans in this neighborhood ranging in size from 2,144 to 3,535 square feet on cul-de-sac, wooded, or corner homesites.

Construction will begin soon on two model homes - the 2,144 square-foot, 3.bedroom, 2 bath Atlantis and the two-story, 3,216-square-foot, 5-bedroom, 3 1/2-bathroom Castille.

The Preserve at St. Johns Landing Estates is located on Reed Island Drive in Fort Caroline, an area less than 10 miles east of downtown Jacksonville on the southern shore of the St. Johns River.

The community features access to a private boat ramp with direct access to the river.

Located on Sleepy Hollow Road just off County Road 220 in Orange Park, homes in Doctors Inlet Reserve will start in the $150’s.

CornerStone Homes will offer 10 floorplans ranging from about 1,400 to 3,216 square feet on 156 homesites and will soon begin constructing two model homes from floorplans designed specifically for the neighborhood. Among the amenities included at Doctors Inlet Reserve will be a pool and clubhouse.

The model homes in The Preserves at St. Johns Landing Estates and Doctors Inlet Reserve are expected to open this summer and will feature solid surface kitchen countertops with integrated sinks, walk in showers, tiled floors in the foyers, bathrooms, laundry room, breakfast nook and kitchen; woodburning fireplaces, full stucco exteriors and landscaping offerings.

CornerStone Homes is currently building in Captiva Bluff, Amelia View, Timberland Estates, as well as The Preserve as St. Johns Landing Estates and Doctors Inlet Reserve.
