Harmony Homes of North Florida has begun to build interest for its 51 homesites in Heritage Landing at World Golf Village by hosting a private party for Realtors from Davidson Realty, Inc. at its Whisper Glen model home.
The Jacksonville-based homebuilder’s founder, David Shacter, and representatives from the sales and marketing department escorted more than a dozen agents to model homes in its Whisper Glen and Cape Coral communities to give them a sense of what homebuyers can expect in a Harmony home.
According to Director of Sales and Marketing Linda Moore, Harmony Homes expects to have two model homes at Heritage Landing open by the end of this summer.
The first model will be the 2,283-square-foot, 5-bedroom, 3-bath Harmony Bonus floorplan, which features several configurations for the bedrooms, den, owner’s bath, and kitchen bay window. The second model will be the 2,669-square-foot, 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom Inverness II floorplan, which boasts a finished bonus room, family room with an open two-story ceiling, and covered front porch.

Ryland Homes has started construction of a 2,000 square foot new home design center at its corporate headquarters facility on Fleming Island in Clay County.
Jeff Agar, president of Ryland Homes in northeast Florida, said Ryland’s new design center will offer homebuyers a retail environment where they can experience a wide range of choices in window, wall and floor treatments, cabinetry and fixtures, lighting, home electronics and entertainment options.
Agar said the facility is expected to be completed this summer.

Mercedes Homes is building in the Seagrove community in St. Augustine.
There are 37 homesites available within Seagrove, which is located a half-mile from the beach.
Homebuyers will have four two-story home designs and two one-story home designs from which to choose:
• The Phoenix: 2,906-square-feet, two-story home featuring 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths.
• The New Salem: 1,858-square-feet, two-story home featuring 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths.
• The Lexington: 1,672-square-feet, two-story home featuring 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths.
• The Jefferson: 1,565-square-feet, two-story home featuring 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths.
• Buena Vista: 2,110-square-feet, single-story home featuring 3 bedrooms, 2 baths.

North Florida Builders has a model and two showhomes under construction at Emily’s Walk, a new custom home community located off of Crystal Springs Road in West Jacksonville.
“Emily’s Walk features a great location that is near I-10 and I-295 and close to Cecil Commerce Center,” Vice President Linda Mathis said.
Once a fully-operational Navy base, Cecil Commerce Center has been redeveloped into a business center for industrial as well as commercial use. The center also features a full range of recreational activities including an equestrian center, community center, swimming pool, ball fields and tennis courts.
Emily’s Walk offers wooded estate homesites surrounded by nature preserves and lakes. The average homesite measures 100 feet by 130 feet, with some of the homesites ranging between a half and three-quarters of an acre. Several of the homesites offer cul-de-sac locations.
North Florida Builders has a fully decorated model home under construction that will open this summer. The Fernandina has 4,290 square feet of living space with five bedrooms and five baths. The Fernandina model will be available for sale with a leaseback provision.
North Florida Builders also has two showhomes under construction that will be ready for move-in this summer. All of North Florida Builders’ homes at Emily’s Walk have brick exteriors and include a wonderful selection of interior and exterior features.

Classic American Homes has built out its final two homes in Pablo Bay, a unique community with spectacular amenities located a half-mile north of the Mayo Clinic on San Pablo Road.
Classic American’s final two homes are expected to be ready for move-in by year’s end. Each home will be 2,379 square foot with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, formal living and dining rooms, covered patio, courtyard entries, and full stucco exteriors.

Last July, D.R. Horton launched sales in Greenfield and Oak Harbour, two neighboring communities off Roberts Rd. between CR 210 and SR 13. In the ensuing 10 months, all but 16 of the 110 homes in the two communities have sold.
The homes range from 2,000-3,000 square feet and current prices for the remaining homes are from $230,000 to $320,000.
Homes in both communities are full stucco or full brick.

Watson Home Builders has begun selling 27 90-foot homesites in the third phase of Meadowfield in Yulee.
Watson Home Builders will offer 18 floorplans between 1,431 and 2,592 square feet with 3-, 4-, or 5-bedrooms and beautiful full stucco, full brick or brick and Hardiplank exteriors. They are priced starting in the $160s. Construction is almost finished on the model home - The Coventry - a 2,287-square-foot, 4-bedroom, 3-bath home expected to open soon.

Bryan Weber, managing director of Flagship Communities, LLC, hosted VillaRiva’s entire construction team for an onsite barbecue luncheon to celebrate the community’s construction progress. At the event, which was held within the future owners’ lounge on the waterfront, the developer announced that the a 66-home condominium development on in Jacksonville’s Riverside area is well on its way to its scheduled Spring 2005 opening.

The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village’s residents will be happier and healthier than ever with the arrival of the community’s new Fitness Cottage. The 2,400-square-foot facility, adjacent to the tennis courts at the Swim & Tennis Center within the King & Bear, opened in April.
The Fitness Cottage includes an approximate 40x65-foot fitness center with a separate class and instruction room.
“Our residents have been eagerly awaiting the opening of the fitness center and are already putting it to good use. It’s the perfect antidote for spring fever,” said Sherry Davidson of Davidson Development, the community’s developer.
The facility is equipped with advanced equipment including Precor cardio treadmills, trainers and recumbent cycles, in addition to a variety of Hoist weight trainers and Smith safety free weights.
FitRev Commercial Exercise Equipment, Inc. supplied all of the training equipment.
Other features include video monitors, a sound system, water coolers, a coffee machine and a small, adjacent outdoor seating and gathering garden, in addition to women’s and men’s rest and changing rooms.
