The first spades of soil have been ceremoniously shoveled at the plot of land that will soon be home to the St. Augustine condominium community of Belle Haven.
The day’s speaker was Elizabeth Robins, president of Eastwood of St. Augustine, LLC.
After several delays brought on by the fierce winds and relentless rains of Florida’s recent string of hurricanes, Robins was ecstatic to finally receive nature’s blessing for the project’s groundbreaking.
“It’s a huge relief to finally break ground on this project,” said Robins. “I’m so thankful for the bright blue sunny day that is an indication of the great things to come with Belle Haven. It’s a beautiful project and I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve accomplished here.”
The 120 residences will range from 1,250 to more than 1,500 square feet, all with screened balconies.
Spread out among nine, 2-story buildings, residences are available in two bedroom, two bedroom plus den, and three bedroom floorplans.
Belle Haven is just off of U.S. 1, south four miles from SR 312. The com[plation date is expected by the end of next year.
