The Northeast Florida Builders Association recognized Trident Realty Corp for its philanthropic contribution to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation during the Association’s January board meeting.

The company served as the title sponsor of Water’s Edge Oceanfront Condominium Moonlight Martinis, an annual event that raises funds for cystic fibrosis research.

“We are honored to have been a part of Moonlight Martinis and we appreciate this special recognition,” Trident President Ron Buckley said. “The event was delightful and a wonderful way to support the efforts of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.”

Moonlight Martinis guests enjoyed live jazz, eclectic martini bars, gourmet cuisine and an extravagant live auction at the J. Johnson Gallery in Jacksonville Beach. The event raised $116,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, nearly 20 percent more than the Foundation’s 2004 goals.

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease affecting approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was established in 1955 to assure the development of a means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those afflicted with the disease.

Trident Realty Corp of Ponte Vedra Beach is developing Water’s Edge Oceanfront Condominium. Since 1970, the company’s principals have worked in real

estate development and property management industries. Trident Realty Corp is also developing The Villas of Augustine Island at Palencia.
