The Florida Association of Realtors 2005 Convention & Trade Expo will offer the latest gadgets and gizmos, advice from leading real estate trainers and a chance to network with other real estate professionals, say the organizers.
This year’s event is Aug. 24-28 at the Wyndham Palace Resort & Spa in Lake Buena Vista and a FAR spokesperson said the 89th annual convention will give real estate professionals new ways to enhance their real estate business through the best technology tools, sales and marketing techniques, business models and other industry-specific information.
The event also will give participants the chance to glean advice from leading real estate trainers and to network with colleagues. Thousands of Realtors from across the state are expected to attend.
Leading industry speakers including Jim Pugliese, John Tuccillo, Terri Murphy and Allen Hainge will offer insight into current trends in the real estate market, with more than 25 educational sessions scheduled during the convention.
Topics include increasing profits while working smarter; ways to increase listings through marketing techniques; suggestions for developing international business; 10 trends shaping the future of the real estate business; tips for dealing with 1031 exchanges; and suggestions for getting started in commercial real estate.
Other highlights of the event include the Trade Expo, where real estate vendors demonstrate the latest products at more than 150 booths; and the Super Sales Day/Annual Awards Luncheon, featuring motivational speaker Larry Winget, author of the 2004 bestseller “Shut Up, Stop Whining & Get a Life: A Kick-Butt Approach to a Better Life.” There also will be the traditional Election Night Dance and Celebration.
