The sales team of La Terrazza gathered Realtors, media and Jacksonville City Council member Art Shad to officially announce the La Terrazza Luxury Condominium Homes project located at Goodby’s Lake on Baymeadows Road just east of San Jose Boulevard.

Shad said that high quality in-fill in his district, like La Terrazza fulfills a vital niche in the community.

“As the population has grown more and more, it’s important for the fabric of our community to have this type of development,” he said. “It’s needed in the marketplace.”

The development, by Brownstone Developers, will feature 50 “luxury” units situated on 5.5 acres and surrounded by oak trees. The property is also lined with protected wetlands bordering Goodby’s Lake. The development is set back from the lake, allowing homeowners a view of the water, according to Brent Brown of Brownstone Developers.

“The trees are really selling this project,” he said. “The Goodby’s Lake area around Baymeadows Road is somewhat of an undiscovered jewel that has so much potential.”

Future residents will have the option of purchasing boat slips with lifts that will allow boaters access to the St. Johns River. There will be eight total.

“The starting price for our units is in the high 400’s. You just can’t find boat accessible new construction of this quality and size at this price” said Deanna Farah, marketing director for La Terrazza.
