The Florida Home Builders Association Board of Directors recently elected Orange Park builder Jerry Linder to serve as FHBA’s Area II Builder Vice President.

Linder will serve as FHBA leadership representatives for the four local home builder associations in the Area II region: Columbia County Home Builders Association, Northeast Florida Builders Association, Builders Association of North Central Florida and Marion County Builders Association.

Linder will stay in close communication with Area II presidents and executive officers, hold area meetings prior to each FHBA conference, represent Area II on the FHBA Executive Committee, conduct area caucuses at each FHBA conference, attend local builders association general membership meetings, and represent Area II on FHBA’s Legal Action and Industry Issues committees.

Linder, current president of the Northeast Florida Builders Association and a principal with The Vintage Group Inc., is an active builder in Northeast Florida. He is a past recipient of the Clay County Builder of the Year Award, the past chair of the Clay Builders Council. Linder is actively involved in giving back to his community through his efforts to assist war veterans with vital home remodeling needs and constructing the Quigley House, a shelter for abused women and children.

“Serving as an FHBA Area Vice President is an awesome responsibility,” said FHBA President and Sarasota builder John Wiseman. “Jerry Linder and Roy Duckett (Ocala realtor and Area II Associate Vice President) are dynamic leaders, and I am confident they will serve as terrific representatives for Area II members.”
