“I enjoyed seeing all the people and networking! There were a lot of great booths. I liked the giveaway with the personalized gift baskets, cookies with your business card and picture on it. I like the venue and the food was great.”

—Gene Jones of ERA Dan Jones and Associates, Inc.

“If we want to make it better next year (duh) we should also find out what people liked least. I already had a participant tell me the location was horrible. He said it was hot since he was upstairs. Obviously, this is one opinion. He also said the event had fewer Realtors roaming around than he expected, and the theme was not his favorite. He said it was a ‘little cheesy’. Obviously not my thoughts; I’m just relaying the feedback he gave me. I thought the event turned out to be phenomenal, but not perfect. There is always room for improvement. But I have talked to a few people that did not think so. The specific example was about the owner of a real estate company here in town. He had no idea I had helped with the planning or was involved, he just knew I attended. The short of it is that I have gotten mixed reviews because I ask real questions. People these days are on autopilot unless you shock them out of it. Perfect example is when you ask ‘How are you?’ When was the last time someone said anything but ‘Fine, and you?’ So again, I thought it was great and probably so did the majority, but how can we make it better for the rest who did not think so?”
