Big-money verdicts

Attorneys Joel Toomey and Eric Ragatz have joined the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. The Peek, Cobb & Edwards lawyers became members of the California-based organization by serving as principal counsel in at least one case in which their client received a $1 million-plus verdict, award or settlement. Nationwide, there are about 3,000 members of the organization, which is less than 1 percent of the attorneys in the United States. Toomey is a graduate of Duke University Law School and Ragatz went to law school at Florida State.
