The Northeast Florida Veterans Council and the City of Jacksonville recently dedicated this monument to all wounded veterans. It was placed outside of the Veterans Memorial Arena to signify the start of the Purple Heart Trail. The trail starts at this monument and heads east to the Veterans Memorial Wall.
