The Northeast Florida Builders Association’s membership blitz has resulted in 56 members since the announcment at the September meeting, according to Membership Director Ashley Bizzarri.
Vicky Zelen of Zelen Risk Solutions was the winner of the first blitz phase, bringing in the most members. She won a weekend at the Casa Monica hotel in St. Augustine.
Two “Thank you” drawings from the remainder of blitz participants were also held and Joan Pattison of J.P. Perry Insurance won two tickets to the Florida-Georgia football game and Omar Farhat of All Lines Insurance won a KitchenAid mixer.
The next blitz grand prize, spa or golf package at the Sawgrass Marriott, will be given away at the Nov. 21 NEFBA meeting.
Also at the meeting, Rita Williams of Merchandising Plus was given a Spike membership award for her continued efforts in raising the membership level.
“My first client was (builder) Ron Coppenbarger but, before I signed on, he said that I had to join NEFBA,” she said. “He fronted me the money and it’s the greatest gift anyone has ever given me. I can’t tell you how much it has helped over the years.”
