Taylor Morrison officially opened Kindlewood with a ribbon cutting ceremony following the completion of its first three model homes.

“We are pleased to open Clay County’s first traditional neighborhood development and look forward to the family-friendly atmosphere this community will create,” said Richard Dalton, division president for Taylor Morrison in Jacksonville. “We have opened our first models in the Village Homes collection and look forward to opening more models in the future.”

Kindlewood is located near OakLeaf Plantation off of Brannan Field State Road 23. The community will emulate the towns and suburbs built in the early to mid-20th century and feature homes with front porches, wide sidewalks and common green areas for activities.

The community’s first three model homes from the Village Homes collection include the Ashton, Montague and Radcliff. Priced from the $190,000s, the homes range in size from 1,690 square feet to 2,507 square feet and are part of the community’s model park, which will feature six model homes when complete.

The largest of the three model homes is the two-story Ashton, which features 2,507 square feet of living space including four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a two-car garage. Starting in the mid-$200,000s, the home will have the option to include up to six bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The Montague is a one-story neo-traditional home with 2,137 square feet of living space, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage. Priced in the low-$200,000s, this home is a perfect reflection of Kindlewood’s style with a large front porch and rear-access garage. The smaller of the three model homes, the Radcliff, has 1,690 square feet of living space and features three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage.

When complete, Kindlewood will have a variety of neo-traditional architecture. The community will also offer extensive amenities including an adult and children’s pool, clubhouse, playground, tennis court, ponds, walking trails, volleyball court, and pocket parks.
