The Jacksonville Bar Association Holiday Project provides members of the bar, office staff, family members, and students from Florida Coastal School of Law a great opportunity to reach out to others during the holiday season. Participants contact a senior citizen involved with the local Meals on Wheels program and provide that individual with a holiday gift (robe, blanket, toaster oven, etc). You may deliver the gift in person or it can be dropped off at the JBA office to be delivered by volunteers from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. The deadline to drop off the gifts at the JBA office is Thursday, Dec. 18. Participants may sponsor as many senior citizens as they would like, and many offices have made this project part of their annual holiday tradition.  Please contact Michael McCoy (above) at 398-0900 or [email protected] for more information.
