Omni General Manager Scott Stuckey did his part Friday to help the hotel’s associates raise funds to build a float that will be part of the Dec. 31 Winn-Dixie Hometown Gator Bowl Parade. Omni associates from all departments participated in the fund raising effort, including a group that published a cookbook collection of their favorite recipes and another group that organized a candy sale. Stuckey spent two hours in a dunking tank in the parking lot next to the hotel while people paid $5 for three chances to make him take the plunge and raised $1,100 for the cause.
