Members of the Jacksonville Bar Association, office staff, family members, and students from Florida Coastal School of Law helped provide Jacksonville area seniors this year with a happier holiday through its Holiday Project.
Participants in the Holiday Project contacted a senior citizen involved with the local Meals on Wheels program and provided that individual with a holiday gift (robe, blanket, toaster oven, etc.). Some delivered the gifts to seniors while others dropped the gifts off at the JBA office and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office delivered them. The project was able to provide 500 seniors with presents for the holidays.
