The organization: NEFAR’s St. Johns Council provides the Realtors in northern St. Johns County an organization where they can interact with other Realtors working in the same area and see other Realtor’s listings by attending the caravans to help everyone work together and improve our knowledge.
Her responsibilities: “As chairperson, along with my co-chair Mary Ann Bongiorno, is to determine the needs of the Realtors in our area which we did in a planning session in December and coordinate the activities to meet those needs.”
How she was selectedc/elected: Appointed by the NEFAR board of directors.
Meetings and what happens during them: “We have a quarterly breakfast planned with a speaker on Feb. 29, May 16, Aug. 29 and Nov. 14 at 9 a.m. at Caddyshack at World Golf Village. We have networking events planned for March 17, June 27, October 30 and December 19 at 4 p.m. with locations to be announced.
“We have caravans planned every Thursday morning starting Feb. 7 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. with a different area each week. The areas are Palencia, Walden Chase/Nocatee, 210 Corridor, Julington Creek Plantation and World Golf Village.”
Her business: Davidson is the president of Davidson Realty at the World Golf Village. She is on the NEFAR Board of Directors and a FAR Director. Davidson is also active in SMC events.
Her goals for 2008: “My goal for 2008 is to help the Realtors in northern St. Johns County be more productive by finding ways to work together so we all are more professional.”
What does the NEFAR St. Johns Council do?: The St. Johns Council is similar to the other NEFAR councils in that it is unique in the geographic area it serves.
The organization’s impact on the industry: The Council helps Realtors with buyers and sellers interested in this geographic area find ways to work together.
