Success in the courtroom and the community earned Linda Wagner Farrell the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association’s “Woman of the Year” award Thursday.
Farrell was honored along with area judges at the JWLA judicial reception at the Hyatt on Thursday. She specializes in worker’s compensation defense at Boyd and Jenerette.
“I’m truly honored to be recognized by such a wonderful organization,” Farrell said.
In order to be selected for the award candidates must be well rounded individuals, provide outstanding legal and community service, and they must be nominated, and voted on, by their peers, said Anita Pryor, JWLA President-Elect. Farrell was the seventh member to receive the award.
