Basham & Lucas Design Group President Paul Basham has been appointed Vice Chair/Sponsorships of the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Jacksonville District Council executive committee.

“ULI is a great networking organization that promotes the open exchange of ideas, information and experience among local, national and international industry leaders and policy makers,” said Basham. “Annual sponsorships are an effective way to gain exposure while marketing to the professionals that attend our Jacksonville area programs and functions.”

Assisting Basham as co-chair of the sponsorships committee is Eric Lanehart, a landscape architect with Basham & Lucas Design Group.

ULI’s mission is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. The organization is a nonprofit research and education organization. Founded in 1936, the institute has more than 34,000 members worldwide representing the spectrum of land use and real estate development disciplines in private enterprise and public service.

Founded in 1998, Basham & Lucas is headquartered in Jacksonville, and has designed projects in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, Virginia, Delaware, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky and Texas.
