Fun, energetic and exciting are the only words to describe the Jacksonville Women’s Council of Realtors fashion show last month at the Jacksonville Marriott.
The theme was “Shake, Rattle and Roll” and the Jacksonville WCR volunteers and performers certainly did their part to bring that theme alive.
Since the performers were dressed in poodle skirts, ponytails, t-shirts and jeans, the audience was transported back to the 1950’s where they could just kick back (or kick up) their heels and just have a good time.
Before the event, there was a mini-trade show in the lobby featuring some of WCR’s affiliates.
During the event, there was a silent auction, live auction, modeling of clothes from Dillard’s Department Store and performances by the Fred Astaire Dance Studio dances and Elvis Presley impersonator, Randy Walker who wowed the crowd with his very authentic performance.
The fashion show models were Ann Hayman of Re/Max Specialists, Audrey Lackie of Watson Realty, Bonnie Siecker of Century 21 Dames Point Realty, Brad King of Wachovia Mortgage, Brandy Trotter of ERA John Gray Realty, Carol Zingone of Vanguard Realty/GMAC, Chip Pallman of SunTrust Mortgage and Eileen Blocker of Magnolia Properties.
Also, Frankie Lyon of Parks Realty Services, Gloria Stivender of Proficio Mortgage, Gary Harlow of Realty Executives of Jacksonville, Jacquelyn Bates of Coldwell Banker Walter Williams Realty, Jan Shields of Watson Realty, Jim Linn of ERA David & Linn, Linda George of Queen’s Harbour Real Estate Company, Linda Hutchins of Hutchins Investments, Linda Sherrer of Prudential Network Realty, Rita Williams of Merchandising Plus, Sharon Mills of Watson Realty, William Watson III of Watson Mortgage, Clark LaBlond of Watson Realty Corp, Garry Watson of Land America Gulf Atlantic Title, Lee Osborne of Watson & Osborne and Stanley Bishop of Exit Real Estate Gallery.
In addition to the models, several WCR members dressed up and performed dance moves for the crowd. They included Cammie Thomas of Exit Real Estate Gallery, Glenn East of NEFAR, Gwen Templeton of Watson Realty Corp., Jeanne Denton-Scheck of Watson Realty Corp., Kim Smith of Prudential Network Realty, Mary Ann Bongiorno of Watson Realty Corp., Rhonda Martin of MCG Realty, Terry Penna of Exit Real Estate Gallery and Wally Conway of Home Pro Inspections.
The chairman was Nikki Gullett of Title America of Jacksonville.
