The Jacksonville Bar Association hosted a lunch for its past presidents Thursday at the Holland & Knight offices in the Bank of America building.

JBA President Joe Camerlengo and President-Elect Dan Bean, who is an attorney with Holland & Knight, hosted about 20 past presidents to let them know what was in store for the JBA over the course of the next year and to get their input on the plans.

“We reached 2,000 members this year and that would not have been possible without the work that all of you have done for this organization,” said Camerlengo to the gathered past presidents, “and we welcome any input you have to help us to continue to improve the JBA.”

The former presidents were informed about the relocation of the JBA offices that will take place this weekend. The new office space is in the Aetna building on the Southbank and provides more space and rooms for seminars and functions like the Bench and Bar Party. The next JBA event is the Sidebar lunch with civil law judges at the Duval County Courthouse Thursday.
