Judge-elect and former General Counsel Virginia Norton is presented with a framed resolution during Tuesday’s City Council meeting by Council member Don Redman, which honors and recognizes Norton for her election to the Circuit Court bench. Norton’s investiture will be Feb. 19. The four recently elected judges will be having their investiture ceremonies soon, with the first beginning Thursday and the last near the end of March. Each will be at 4 p.m. in Courtroom 4 of the Duval County Courthouse, with Adrian Soud being the first on Thursday. Next will be Judge-elect Jim Daniel on Jan. 29, followed by Judge-elect Virginia Norton on Feb. 19, before being concluded by Judge-elect Jeff Morrow’s ceremony Feb. 26.
