Council art shuffle

City employee Greg Erickson hangs a new piece of art in front of City Council member Daniel Davis’ office at City Hall Tuesday. The picture is actually the work of Davis’ daughter, Alivia, and is just one of the minor cosmetic changes to go along with Council President Richard Clark assuming leadership of the legislative body Wednesday. In his first duty as president, Clark supplied each of the Council members with paint and canvasses and asked them to have a child in their district paint a picture of Jacksonville to be hung in the Council offices.
