Current leaders of the Jacksonville Bar Association sat down with past leaders last week for their semiannual meeting to discuss the state of the association.

About 30 past presidents attended the meeting held in a conference room at the Jacksonville office of Holland & Knight in the Bank of America Tower.

With the discussion and information provided by the association’s first “Diversity Symposium” still fresh in members’ minds, JBA President Joe Camerlengo and President Elect Dan Bean talked about plans for making the symposium an annual event. Camerlengo will continue to chair the event, at the request of Bean, after he steps down as president in May.

The group meets in February and August.
