The Jacksonville Bar Association and Jacksonville Area Legal Aid (JALA) hosted their second talent show Oct. 22 to benefit JALA, with the the event being named “The Honorable Peter J. Fryefield Law Revue” to honor the circuit court judge who recently passed away.

Members of the legal community from the bench and who practice in front of it contributed to 25 acts that included singing, dancing, musical and comedy performances at the Times-Union Center for Performing Arts Terry Theatre.

The event was accompanied by a visual arts display, and pieces were auctioned off to benefit JALA. The event featured 12 visual artists and about 40 performers.

In addition to the honorary name change, the show was slightly altered this year with a family theme, which allowed family members of those in the legal community to participate in the show.
