The Southside Business Men’s Club honored the Pauline W. Smith Scholarship Award winner, Adam Rowley, last week. Taking part in the presentation were University of North Florida Professor Mary Borg, Rowley, Pauline Smith and club President Gene Maszy at the meeting Wednesday at the San Jose Country Club. Rowley is a senior at UNF and was awarded the scholarship by the award’s namesake. He plans to use the $2,000 scholarship to help in his efforts to go to law school. The club’s Youth Achiever scholarship was also awarded, and Paul Huang received $1,500 to help continue his education at UNF.
